The staff here are so friendly and helpful! I enjoy seeing them and they always greet me and make conversation. The lines are rarely long and they are quick to call for backup. Store is clean and usually well-stocked. My only complaint is I have discovered a few items that are expired upon arriving home. It’s such a pain to have to go back and exchange.

Store makes millions in sales but can't fix bathroom toilet is 6/23/2023. Pathetic. I guess management doesn't care about employees and customers.

Usually I would give a 5 star review but today I got ripped off! At checkout I should have had a dollar back but instead I got handed my receipt folded up in a way I assumed it was inside. I stuffed it in my purse and left. When I got to my car I realized she didn't give me anything but the receipt. Once I walked away there's nothing I can do about it. She was working on checkstand #1 I know it's only a dollar but it's still wrong! Guess I will be paying more attention from now on 🤬

Useless. During the time of covid delta, I walked into lucky, no staff at door checking compliance, no one at customer service desk, after standing around for way longer than a few minutes a younger bagging techncian, clearly irritated by my standing mask less and quizzically gesticulating my need for a mask in order to comply with govt mandated edicts as well as keep lucky from being fined for failing to give 2 flying f"s about anyone's safety; I was told they have no masks to provide me, they won't sell me a mask, and for me to walk to CVS. I explain that I'm not from here and ask for directions. They say they don't know where CVS is... it's half a mile. Really? I see your priorities reflect- er.. reflect... wow I guess something, but what? Poor service or uselessness. I don't even know why I'm wasting time writing this. You deserve 0 stars. Sorry. After normality is re established and if you still exist I'll try again.

We live in Pleasant Hill, but drive to Clayton to shop at Lucky's. The people are friendly, and very helpful. My Husband does not like Safeway so we go to Lucky's. Lucky's use to be in Pleasant Hill, but they closed up, so we went to Clayton.

I waited 20 minutes to get some fried chicken and no one was even in the area at 4:30 pm Friday. There was no one around to say we will be with you. No one to complain to. Pretty store but worst customer service? I walked out, went to Safeway.
